Mass user register

Hey there,

I want to register a bunch of users. The Gallery is private and I don't want to allow a public register page.

Is there any possibility to register several user on their email address so they get an email with a link to complete the registration? ( e.g. set a password .... )

    No, you have to register every one manually (unless you want to code it but I think that is not what you want). Or your let them register themselves using the register_user plugin.

    Ok, thanks for your quicke response acrylian ! One further question: Every time when I add a new user I have to put a password on that account but simultaneously a message shows up that the new user will get his password with an email. So when I create a new dummy user for testing i only get a eMail with a link to complete register and after the click I see the normal login page without any possibility to set an password.

    That sounds like an issue I thought we had fixed alreaday. Are you on the latest release?

    I'm running the Zenphoto-Version 1.4.8 [3e3fac42b5] (Offizielle Version) - fresh install a few days ago.

    You used the register_user plugin then? I could not reproduce that behaviour. You can register users directly on the backend alternatively but then you have to mail the passwords manually.
