Does gSlideshow still works with zpBase updated ?
Where can i get gSLideshow to work with zpBase?

    gSlideshow is abandoned for two years so you probably have to find out yourself. I would not expect it to work at all (I have no knowledge about it).

    The slider that at least slideshow2 create is also responsive capable. See the standard slideshow page on official themes. Theme might need some CSS tweaking, don't know offhand.

    The cycle2 script it uses is quite flexible to built your own custom slider as well. http://jquery.malsup.com/cycle2/
