I need to move zenphoto to a new server and use a new domain name.
My current version is 1.4.9 but on the new server it is 1.4.12, what is the best way for me to migrate everything correctly ?

Start with moving your 1.4.9 istallation to the new server.

After that, upgrade to 1.4.12
