rename using php

Hi,

I would like to change the extension and add a character to the end of a filename in the "Albums/testgallery" directory, but I want the code to work with all galleries.

I would like to rename "sound.wav" to "sound1.mp3"

I have tried a few options, but nothing happens.

Any advise?

Zenphoto has no option to rename suffixes for reasons that you normally don't change suffixes unless you are converting files to another format. This could be done via plain PHP functions that are not specific to Zenphoto.
