I am just populating my ZP. I have used FTP as upload was slow. All is fine after a little practice but one of my subalbums has a map in its comment section? I cannot see anything that requests one anywhere. It is not really a problem but I would like to know where the map has come from?

If you have the Google (or OpenStreetMap) plugin enabled and your image has geo meta data embedded (unless disabled on the image options), Zenphoto will read that and display the map using those.
