The simpler media website CMS
I've installed and am using Multiverse 2.1 (love the theme, Antonio, thank you very much). I note however that the Metadata link on each image's page doesn't appear to be working. If I flip the theme back to Zenpage, the info button shows Metadata.
For example, https://gallery.steam4me.net/index.php?album=trams/2021&image=5111_spring_a7r3_07229.jpg
has the following metadata visible on Zenpage theme, but nothing shows on Multiverse theme:
Is there a setting I need to change to activate the Metadata button?
Comments
There seems to be some inconsistencies in printImageMetadata() function. We're looking into it.
Please download and install the Support build
You may also want to enable the
colorbox_js
plugin and there's probably some CSS work to be done.Hopefully the theme author, @bic, will make it look better.
@steam4m, I apologize for the delay in responding, I don't visit this forum very often. For assistance on Multiverse, it's easier to get my attention through a comment on my site or by opening an issue in the dedicated repository on github.
As far as I can see, the metadata link has the "colorbox" class. Since I haven't tested support for that plugin, I'm not able to easily understand why it's not working. If you don't need it for other reasons, you can try to disable the colorbox plugin so that the metadata are displayed normally, without popups to be clear.
That's why I referenced you btw, hoping you had mail notifications enabled ;-)
Thank you very much, sorry for delay in reply, life got in the way.
Inactivating colorbox_js has worked perfectly (not being the sharpest tool in the shed it took me a while to find where to disable).

I'm glad the workaround was successful, anyway I've tested it on Zenphoto 1.5.8 and with this latest version it is possible to open metadata with colorbox enabled also. So it was not Multiverse related.
Confirming that upgrading to 1.5.8 and enabling colorbox.js has enabled the metadata pop-up box. All working perfectly.
Thanks.
