Can't install 3rd part themes

Hi,

I'm trying to install a third party theme into my zenphoto instance. I'm running this on docker container for reference.

I am able to place the theme into the themes folder and zenphots is able to recognize it as a theme however when I try to change to said theme and check the gallary it is a totally white screen and the only html is

<!doctype html>
<html

Does anyone know what is going on here? This is running on a debian machine via the docker container emieza/zenphoto.
