I have transferred a very large collection of South African grave photos from the old Menalto Gallery 2 software to Zenphoto.

I am using theme ZPBase

I want to illustrate a problem I have

I am sorry, I can't give you URLs as they are part of the problem.

for instance, take one of the collections:

https://graves.eggsa.org/gauteng/

If I navigate to a grave image:

click on Gauteng, All roadside memorials

click on Gauteng, KRUGERSDORP

click on the image

you get a the image, a description and a breadcrumb URL to its location.

if you do a search for this image

NORTMAN Hertzog Anthonie

click on Search and enter that name

and click the Magnifying glass or press Enter

you get the image

click on the image

You get almost the same as you got before but without the breadcrumb

How can I get the search page to show the breadcrumb of the image?

as in the url:

https://graves.eggsa.org/gauteng/roadside_memorials/24 Dec 2011_007/Hertzog+Anthonie+Nortman+-+Magaliesberge.JPG

I have some limited experience of editing the theme pages and using the functions provided but I haven't been able to work this one out.

Search results are not within the "normal hierachy" but within search context and so are breadcrumb functions. You can technically return to the search results when visiting a result.

This is also done via a cookie internally. You basically would have to create your own versions of these functions without the search context. I fear there is no simple way. Sorry.
