The simpler media website CMS
My website runs two versions of ZP - 1.6.2 for the live site (because updates are time-consuming and 'risky') and 1.6.5 for the Dev site.
The results for "search" are different, especially when only a single result is returned: -
1.6.2
1.6.5
The first result is logical for the search - you have done a search on the archive for "X", and this is what you got. Next and Previous, go to the next and previous search results. The second is more useful as it allows exploring 'around' the search results; Imagine you searched on a location - and found four artists (each in their own album) had painted it - and wanted to see what else that artist had done?
Suggestion (and only a suggestion) - a link (similar to Windows) of "go to parent album"?
Comments
The breadcrumb on search results does not really include the actual album structure breadcrumb on purpose because that actual structure does not apply here. The parents may not be "results". We had this discussed somewhere here on the forum previously.
Search context is not different if logged in or out although depending on the rights (and search settings) you may see unpublished items in search result.
The breadcrumb should be the same if logged in or out. But if you are on results and logout you loose the search context as that is store via cookies that are cleared if you leave the results via the log out page.
But you suggest just an additional link, right? You could already do that if you know how to modify/customize a theme.
Tomorrow's job, thank you
