Error in Gild 1_2 theme

Attempting to use this them for the "thumbs on left, Image on right" feature that Gildas uses in the demo.

When I click on a thumb to view the Image, however, I get the following error:

Fatal error: Call to a member function getTitle() on a non-object in C:\webpages\sfp\HTML\gallery\zen\template-functions.php on line 433

I do not have link to post, as I'm working locally. If there's a better way to convey the issue, please let me know.

Any thoughts as to what I may be doing wrong?
