Effervescence+ News <Prev Next> Question

I'm unable to figure out how to get the <prev 1 2 next> links to appear at the bottom of the Home page of Effervescence+ 1.4.3.3 when the number of news articles are more than will fit on one page.

The links do appear if I "Read More" of one of the articles on the first page and then return to the main page via "News" in the navigation links at the top of the news article's page.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Open the theme's indexpage.php and locate `<?php commonNewsLoop(false); ?>`Change false to true. I have no idea if this is disabled by accident or not as my colleague maintains this theme primarily.

It is disabled by design. The home page contains just the most recent articles, you click on the `all news` link if you want the complete set of articles.

Thanks acrylian and sbillard. I understand the design logic but believe being able to see the links on the first page is best for my potential readers.

I've made the edit to the file and all is cool now. I will keep this thread so that if I decide to convert back...
