Default theme remains on one album only

Total newbie here, so be gentle!

I've uploaded and installed Zenphoto a couple of days ago and have started populating my gallery.

I've selected Effervescence+ as my theme and all but one album have switched to that theme.
See http://gallery.steam4me.net - the "Trams" album, which was the first album created, remains steadfastly at default.

How do I make it conform to the Effervescence+ theme?

  • Are you using any caching plugins? If so go the zenphoto admin page and purge your cache. If you have any intermediate CDN or caching service running be sure to purge that as well.

Not as far as I know: it was a straightforward default Zenphoto install: nothing extra has been added, I'm still finding my way around the standard ZP application.

I've just purged images, html and RSS caches.

I then changed the theme to "Garland" and all albums except "trams" display the new theme.

I created a new album called "Test" and copied the Tram album to Test as a sub-album. Test/Tram then displayed with the Garland theme. The original tram folder stayed displaying default.

I deleted the original tram album, checked that the Test/Tram album was still there - it was - and that it displayed using the Garland theme - it did.

I then moved the tram album up from Test to a 1st level album. It opens displaying...... the default theme! So back to square one.

I checked Admin/Albums/Album and theme was default. I changed to gallery theme and clicked Apply. Album had changed to Garland. I clicked Ctrl-F5 and album went back to default theme.

Now I'm getting somewhere: in admin I purged the caches again, checked Admin/Albums/Album and theme had reverted to default. I reset to gallery theme again, clicked apply. For good measure, purged everything again, checked the album, yes gallery theme, and display seems to have "stuck" this time.

    Thanks for help.

Be sure to purge your browser cache as well. Some are quite persistent. A constant source of fun working with websites…
