After identifying Zenphoto as the perfect match for our project i did the install and then setup the system to allow registration of new users.
I have a few problems with this process which are as follows:
Upon registration as a new user i am sent an email with the incorrect link in it. The link is incomplete and only part of the link is turned into a hyperlink. This means that any user clicking on this link would be taken to a page and an error displayed. The user would have to be able to recognise and copy paste the rest of the confirmation URL into the browser url field.
However, it doesn't stop there. Once the new account is confirmed i am logged in and told i either have no rights to view anything. I would have though that as a new user after registering you would at least have access to the gallery. this is after all what i made private and only viewable to new registered users.
I then try loggin out and log back in as admin to check the settings. I thought i'd check the gallery but alas i cannot access it, even though i am logged in with an admin account and have all the rights set to view everything. I've checked and also assigned myself to the Administrators group and double checked the Admin user has rights to do everything. It does!
This is a bit bonkers but i thought i;d log out and see if i could log back in again as the new user and check the gallery again. But alas zenphoto will now no longer grant me access.
This looks a good system, but on the whole its just not very straightforward and the amount of problems i've experienced makes me want to give up. However, i know things take work and development. So therefore can you please advise and provide some answers regarding where if anywhere i may be going wrong? or if there are known bugs with user registration etc... I've checked your site and the forums but cant see anything that is related.

The link in the mail is probably broken because the mail program used causes a line break to do so. There is nothing you can do against that except copy&paste the link.
To the other login issues please review your zenphoto logs and wait until my colleague responds later one who is the user right expert.
When i register as a new user it accepts the user details i enter and sends me the confirmation email.
If i copy and paste the full link into the url box and hit enter i can then login with my user details. But the following error is displayed:

If i click on the back button i get the login screen again.
However I try to enter my details but it just gets in a loop and keeps emptying the username and password box and asking again and again for the username and password. This is a continual loop and i cannot get past it.
This is the first major problem i am experiencing.
I have setup standard rights for newly registered users. Therefore i would expect to be able to see the gallery as a newly registered user automatically upon login. However what i have to do for this to happen is manually edit the new users permissions each time.
