displaying comments

What is the php code to display the five most recent comments of my gallery? I tried using getComment() but my page goes blank. Thanks!

I'm still having the same issue- comments not displaying, and everything on the page going blank. My code is:
<?php printLatestComments(); ?>

I didn't see this in the Functions documentation. Where can I get more info about this? What else can I try? Thanks.
