How do I add the captions when using Highslide?

I've adapted a few of the themes and got them working with highslide exactly (pretty much) as I want. But I'm having real trouble displaying the image caption under the photo.
Ideally it would be between the Next and Close options.

Anyone any idea what I'm missing? (In easy terms since I'm stupid :-)
