Upgraded to 1.1 now one gallery works and the other doesn't.

I have two galleries, one for Photos - http://www.phillipdrawbridge.com/zenphoto
and one for my artwork - http://www.phillipdrawbridge.com/gallery

I upgraded both galleries to 1.1 today and the photo one works great.
but the artwork one has few issues:

If you click on any image in any gallery you get a file not found error. but not only that, it seems to be looking for the wrong gallery ANTASY rather than FANTASY

Since this gallery is in a folder, GALLERY I'm guessing the auto path this is getting confused. But if this is the case, then it's a bug since the previous version.

COuld anyone confirm my theor? And what should I set the webpath and server path to?

I'm guessing webpath should be /gallery but the server path is confusing me shoudl it be http://www.phillipdrawbridge.com/gallery/zp-core ?

Any help with this strange problem is much appreciated.

edit - This may help. if you go to the second page of albums in the art gallery, it actually takes you to the 2nd page in the photography gallery.

What am I missing? Seems obvious, but I can't find it.

  • Grrrr. Never mind. I made mod_rewrite false and it's fine now.
  • Im not sure what the problem was. I tried an install out with gallery as the main folder with mod_rewrite on and it worked just fine..
  • I think the problem is that it is pretty hard to set up a .htaccess file to deal with mod_rewrite for two galleries. For instance, what would the RewriteBase be? You can set the .htaccess up for one of the galleries and have mod_rewrite set for that one, but the other gallery will need to have mod_rewrite reset.
  • Thanks for replying. I still don't really know what it's doing (or what I'm doing for that), but setting mod_rewrite to false ont he non zenphoto directory gallery sorted it out.
  • I know you have it all sorted out now but if you would like to use mod_rewrite a simple way would be to merge the two galleries into 1, have 2 albums (1 for art, 1 for photos), and just remove tha "gallery title" from the header
