admin login and image viewing issues

ok, just upgraded from 1.08 and having some problems. I mistakenly tried a setup.php version an upgrade.php, had to drop the options table and run upgrade.php and things when well.

First issue is that any admin navigation link I click on prompts me to login so trying to update setting, etc doesn't work and with the options tab I get a login and then a blank page here:
/photos/zp-core/admin.php?page=options&action=saveoptions#

Second issue, I have mod_rewrite enabled and I can see the thumbnails for any of the themes, but when I try clicking on the thumbnail no image shows up, clicking on the broken preview will load the actual image, just trying to figure out where the disconnect is.

Also why is there a slash on the top of every page.

    not sure if it's related but I'm getting that slash in the rss feed making it an invalid xml doc:

    What theme is this? There is a line with just a slash as the first line in your html. Perhaps a typographical error?

    For your admin problems, can you look at your cgi log and see if there are any errors reported? Blank pages are most often caused by errors that show up in these logs. Let us know the error if there is one.

    One thing that you might want to try is to find any zenphoto cookies and delete them. There may be a cookie compatibility problem.
