After upgrade no large image support (1.1.3)

Hi, after updating one of my test galleries to 1.1.3 I noticed that all images that is quite large (like 0.8MB) will not show up in full image but works in thumbnail?
If uploading a smaller image it works fine. Do you guys have any idea? It worked in the past (but I had similair problems but the limit was then higher).

2 images are large and 2 small:

  • .08mb is not all that large. But, you may be having memory allocation issues. Check your CGI logs to see what errors there are.
  • Hi, I'm using a provider (www.one.com) and they only provide access logs. Is there any other way to verify this? I would really like to update my "live" zenphoto but I don't dare since there is a risk that some of my photos will be invisible after update. Is there any limitation that has been changed regarding size? Is there any max size that you need to be aware of?

    The images are often 595x500...

I suggest you ask your provider how much memory you have for running scripts.
  • Will do and provide an answer later. Thanks!
  • They have 16MB as limit. I guess that is kind of week? Is this the answer?
  • Yes, that is not enough. How about 128mb for a good size.

The ISPs I know have between 24-72mb, depending on the package you buy.

filiphw: But did you say that it worked with a previous zp version?

I believe ZP's memory usage for image processing may have increased, I've seen a couple of posts like these.

I wish we had a good memory profiler for PHP, we could compare and see how to improve. For now though let's check and make sure we're not using an extra image operation or forgetting to free an image since older versions..
  • Yes it worked before. I used my small testalbum for all upgrades. Many of the "larger" images that is 0.8MB is not working but the smaller about 0.1MB is working. Very sad that my provider only have 16MB.
