images not showing

Uhm i did everything in the faq section except number 3 since I don't need apache.
I double-checked the permissions of my folders, made sure that safe_mode is turned off.
I didn't mess up any css stuff. @_@
My images aren't showing. No thumbnails. No nothing. HELP?
