I've installed Zenphoto per the instructions and set everything up as it should. (CHMOD 777 on albums and cache, etc.)
I've refreshed the database and run the pre-cache creation script for my images.
Why does everything still run so slow? It's as if it's generating the thumbnails each time I load the page.
Here's my gallery:
http://marmanold.com/images/gallery_images/I'm on a GoDaddy shared hosting plan running PHP5 and MySQL 5.
ZenPhoto looks really awesome, and I'd like to switch all my photos over to it, but if it's going to run this slow I'm not going to be able to use it.
Thanks in advance for the help!

What does the /cache folder look like? Are there folders of images in there? What are the permissions on the sub-folders of /cache (if there are any)? What about the images?
My guess is that it's having trouble detecting whether the images have been cached or not, but I'm not sure why.
Second thing, the images you're trying to display are rather large (looks like about 6 Megapixels). If you resize them down to 800x600 or 1024x768 or around there, they will process and load much much faster. We recommend this for any shared host where processing is slow, and the same would be true of any web-based gallery software.
Still, they should not be re-processing each time the page is loaded, that's definitely a problem. We'll help you figure it out.
Cache folder has a folder named photo_test filled with the cached images of my test album. Read, write, execute permissions set for everything (CHMOD 777) for cache folder, all sub-folders, and all images. (Screenshots below.)
