  • There are a couple of interpretations to your question, so I will try to answer both:

    1. You want to have more than one galleries stored in the same database. You can do this, just be sure that you choose a different database prefix for each gallery.

These galleries may be hosted in the same domaine by putting them in different subfolders within the domaine. Alternatively you can create subdomains on your domaine and point each to a different gallery.

    2. You want to consolidate several galleries into one "home". In the nightly build there are a couple of examples of "super galleries" which are galleries whose content is other galleries.

Hope this helps. If not, give us the "more explaination..."
  • Thank you.

Solution #1 would require more than one admin log-in, correct?

Solution #2, I will take a look at what you are referencing, but yes. I would like several galleries in one admin area.
  • #1 uses one database, so there is only one DB login. I should have mentioned that the supergalleries are in the nightly build, they will be part of 1.1.5. Also in the nightly build is the ability to have multiple admins for a gallery, including granting some rights to "administer" a particular album. That may also be what you want.
  • @sbillard

A login option for more than user sounds very promising. Would you happent o know, when zp 1.1.5. gets released? Thank you, jim.
  • How about Friday (targeted, not promised.)
  • So if I wanted to do something along the lines of Solution #1, is there any documentation on how to do this? I have read through the forums and the installation guides and could not find anything. I am not very php savvy, so I was just wondering if anyone has done this and if so how they did it.

    TIA
  • Solution #1 requires no programming. You just have to make multiple installations of zenphoto into different folders. Each install needs to have a different database prefix name in the setup.

If you are interested in subdomains, consult your ISP.
