mysql_num_rows() error during setup

I get this error twice when following setup.php on a new ZP installation -- appears to be harmless, but would be much more user-friendly if it could be suppressed...

`Warning: mysql_num_rows(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in C:xampplitehtdocsgalleryzp-coresetup.php on line 51`

Fresh install of ZP 1.1.5, into a fresh install of XAMPP Lite 1.6.6a
