Hello, first time trying to install zenphoto. I'm not really sure what I'm doing wrong at this point. I first tried using my service provieders 1 click install for installing version 1.0.2. Even powwebs own install service is not working correctly and giving me this message:

The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from fulfilling the request.
The script had an error or it did not produce any output. If there was an error, you should be able to see it in the error log.

I have tried installing the 1.1.5 and the latest of the nightly builds but all give me the same error. I know I have PHP5 and MySQL 5 and I tried checking my CGI Error log but I don't have any. So at this point I'm really confused. :(

    My site is located on POWWEB. It normally runs fine, but lately I think POWWEB is having some difficulties. Sometimes the site fails in strange ways. But I wait a bit and it is again running fine.

    Do you mean you don't have a CGI Error Log or that it is empty? BTW, at least for my site the php is 4.4.7, not 5. But that should not matter.

    Well I actually managed to get their Instal Central version to work so I pulled the config.php file off of that and hopefully I'll be able to use that info to get the newest version working.

    Hey just letting you know I did manage to fix my installation. Thanks and keep up the good fight, zenphoto is great so far! Now I just need to learn how to make my own themes.... ugh

    I do wish POWWEB would upgrade the version in Install Central--that one is quite old. Don't try to upgrade from it. I had all sorts of troubles doing that and finally went with a clean install. Using the info from config.php just like you plan!

    In .htaccess RewriteEngine is ON and RewriteBase is correct. Permissions set to 755. ZP-config has correct settings. What ellse should I possibly do to fix this error?
