Tag visibility

Just logging into my site (problems getting to in in Camino so using Safari) and see at the password page my Tags are visible. Before I set the CSS for "taglist", just wanted to know if there is reason that I want these visible to visitors? (Otherewise I'll set to match background colour)

    The only reason for showing them to visitors is if you wish visitors to be able to search for similarly taged images.
