comment email notification - no emails being sent

hi, here is a problem:

I am on godaddy's Linux shared server with PHP v 5, I have several ZP older versions installed and no problems what so ever, however just recently decided to check the latest ZP build and see what's what. The problem is that me and my buddy are on 2 separate godaddy's shared servers. non of us is receiving comment email notifications. , What's really weird is that only one album is able to send email notifications, I have like 7 albums and only one is able to send, I mean that I post a comment on that particular album than I get email. admin password reset works fine, mod_rewrite with both enabled and disabled still -no go., we reinstalled db reinstalled everything, we used all possible themes and still - no go. we've been working on this, trying to find an issue for 3 days and nights and we just out of ideas. I poked on ZP forums and only a few individuals had similar issue with no definite answers. can someone tell us what else can we do.

    Sorry about the late response, I simply don't have any ideas on this one. Sorta stumped.

    We know e-mails work, since you get the password reset mail...

    I'm guessing it's a bug somewhere in the email code. I think I've had issues with the comment notification before, I just never really used it so I turned it off.
