white highlight frame around thumbs and prev/next navigation.

hello to all,

please excuse me if my questions are stupid, but I am a beginner in this....

when I roll over a thumb with the mouse I get that very thin WHITE frame around the thumbs, I was searching like crazy to find where to change that white into another color, without success, where can I change the color from that white frame?

another question: I wanted to make the frame and the prev/next nagigation a little smaller, where cam I find it?
