Shutterfly plugin not working

I just upgraded to 1.1.6 because of the Shutterfly plugin, but it doesn't seem to actually exist. The only files I find in the plugin directory is a readme, a css file, and an image. The referenced "shutterfly.php" file ain't there. Anyone know how I can get this working?

  • Did you actually try to use it? Did you look at the plugin tab of the admin page?
  • yup. checked the box on the plugins page, and hit save. Nothing happened. Took a look in the plugins/shutterfly directory, and all that was there was the css, an image, and the readme. Clicked the "usage information" link as well, but the info there is not helpful at all - no offense.

What I love about ZenPhoto is the simplicity of it. I'm putting together a gallery for some friends who just had a baby, and they aren't good with technology. ZP works so easy, I figured they would have no problem with admin. Because of its simplicity, it will attact users like this who have very little tech know-how. So better documentation all around would be great.
  • Is it possible to just download and install the plugin manually?

by the way, I'm using the default theme
  • If I were you I would download the "real" release of zenphoto. If you are using the default theme and have the check box for shutterfly checked you should be seeing the shutterfly logo at the bottom left of your image pages. If it is not there, something is not working. BTW since you had a shutterfly plugin box to check, you at least have the shutterfly.php script.

Given that your admin tab says "ooments" who knows what else is wrong with your installation.

"Is it possible to just download and install the plugin manually?"

The only download we have is the complete release. But you could extract just the plugins from it.
  • I'll give the official release a shot.

    thanks!
