is this solved

Hi just downloaded the latest version (today 15-June-08)
and I got the same error.

Installed it (not an upgrade).

Can somebody please point me to a working version?

Or do I need to get somebody to change the php code at my end.

Thanks a lot of every hint/advice.

Oops didn't post in that thread:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function mb_detect_encoding() in /home/xyz/public_html/zp-core/lib-gettext/gettext.inc on line 101

That is a know bug in 1.1.6 regarding the I18n feature:

    Please try the nightly build.

    Thanks for the replies.

    I downloaded now zenphoto-2008-06-14-trunk.zip

I'm getting somebody to install this gettext module on that server.

It seems I can install zenphoto without that, but

getting after doing the chmod, config, etc,... and clicking 'GO'

    --------------------------
    About to create tables...

Warning: array_key_exists() [function.array-key-exists]: The second argument should be either an array or an object in /home/xyz/public_html/zenphoto/zp-core/functions.php on line 2052

    Done with table create!

Is there an older 'stable' version ?

I don't need any fancy features, just basic functionality would be sufficient.
    Thanks
  • First. the message you got is a warning, so it should not keep you from running. It needs to be fixed, but it will also go away once you have an image in your gallery.

Second, the "stable" release is the 1.1.6 version that you already know has a problem when the gettext module is not installed on some servers. So, if you get that module installed, you can run the 1.1.6 release.
