Mac browser differences

acrylian: Do you notice huge diffs between your theme in Safari to Firefox/Camino? Typeface (not appearing), colours in images? Do you do what PC users do in that they do workarounds for IE (for Safari)?

Typeface: I don't encounter this, since the typeface is depended on the fonts installed on the viewer's computer. What do you mean exactly?

image colors: That is because Safari is the only browser that supports color profiles (well Firefox 3 does also if told so). So it happens that images look better in Safari than in others. You should save them without a profile and best work with them in sRGB color environment.
  • I have " font-family: "Monotype Corsiva", "Apple Chancery", "Zaph Chancery", "Comic Sans MS", cursive.

I know from HTML 101 fonts are dependent on OS hence PC/Mac problems (not as much now). But Safari doesn't display the Monotype. Will have to investigate. It seemed strange being I'm viewing on my computer, not someone else having the problem.

Colour: Will revise image to sRGB.

Well, I don't think that the first three fonts are generally available (for example I don't have the first), the only fonts you really can use for sure are still the same as ever plus a very few more for newer systems.

But at least on your computer that should of course work (btw, Comic Sans is one of the worst fonts ever, a website with that font lost immediatly for me...:-))).

btw, It's "zapf chancery" I think.
