iZen 0.1

A new theme: iZen 0.1

Download & Preview

At the moment there is no comment function, but it would be great if you could test the mirror effect and the layout.

You need a zenphoto 1.0.1 - just copy the files into the "theme" and the "zen" directory.

Attention: You have to overwrite the files `i.php` and `template-functions.php`. I just added some extra lines for the mirror effect.

Any feedback would be great!

    I dont like how I have to replace i.php and template functions.. hopefully some sorte plugin framework can be added to zenphoto down the line so stuff like this can be possible.........not sure how that would be integrated even if there was a plugin framework.. but that is why I am a tester and not a programmer....

    Awesome.

    Chilifrei -- you might want to update your thumbnail size to 95 instead of 85 if you're planning on keeping that theme.

    .. That's still something I want theme developers to have control over... maybe someday...
  • I wont be keeping the theme.. that is on my beta site.. I was just testin it for him...

    Chilifrei64,
    what are your exact thumbnails settings in the config.php? Are they the same like this:
    `$conf['thumb_crop'] = true;

    $conf['thumb_crop_width'] = 85;

    $conf['thumb_crop_height'] = 85;

    $conf['thumb_size'] = 100;`

    Because the mirror seems to be generated some pixels to far to the right.

    Thank you!
  • you know i didnt even notice that it was to the right a little
    The settings are 95 instead of 85... not sure how they got changed from default.. it is 1 of 4 zp test galleries I have installed.. I am sure i messed around and tweaked s few settings here and there along the way
    I did change the config.php back to 85 w/h and it looks right now..
  • Installed it on

    Working great as far as I can see... great theme.
  • sjard, I love it... very osx like ! thnx for sharing.
  • I was surfin around some ajax stuff and I one thing i found was a reflection ajax script.. possibly easier... I havent tried it yet.. actually just gettin ready to hit the sack.. but figured I would share.. maybe easier maybe not.. but figured I would share.. all you have to do is put rel="reflect" in the image tag and it does the rest..
    Check it..

    This ajax script is nice, but it doesn't work in IE. That's why I worked on another way to make the reflections.
  • makes sense.. damn IE.. does it again.. I just tried it on mine.. and I have IE7.. doesnt work. Oh well. just a thought
  • Hi, I'm trying to change the reflection from black to white...I've tried changing the png but with little effect.

    The album is here:

    Is it something to change in the php or should it be just the image?

    cheers

    For other background colors you have to create a 24 bit png image (87 x 87 pixel) that fades from transparent to the background color.

    I made you one for white backgrounds:

    Just rename it into `i.png` and overwrite the original file.
  • yowsa! that was quick, thanks for that, it works a treat :D
  • looks very nice I would like to comments added to it before I can use it on my site. :)
  • Just thought I would post this. Found this again on digg and it now supports IE

    prolly makes things a little easier.

    That's pretty cool... it should allow this look without having to modify i.php, which is one of my biggest pet peeves ;-)
  • Does anyone have this anywhere - his sjard's site seems to be down.
    I have this installed but I just want to reinstall it. Anyone got the zip lying around?
    Please e-mail me it @ peter.wynne[AT]gmail.com
