Album image displays as subalbum page

Got an Album with 1 photo. It leads to 4 subalbums, 2 up per page. On page 1, two appear. On page 2 last 2 appear. However, there is a page 3: the Album image that's parent to these subs. Why? Can it be "removed" as it's not a subalbum, it's the parent and misleading as to the number of subalbum pages.

    What shows up when you edit this album in Admin?

    Where does the 1 photo show up?

    The photo displays when viewing as NON-admin. (Thought that at first, Admin sees everything).

    In Edit Gallery it's the chosen picture. In Albums/Images tab, it's deselected.
