I am looking for a way to display images hosted inside zenphoto on other websites that I do not control. One was to do it is just copy and paste the location of the image (in the format
http://www.examples.com/gallery/cache/albumexample/D201_0120.JPG_150.jpg) but the images linked to will break if the image size settings inside zenphoto are altered at a later date, and then the cache is cleared.
Other image links generated by zenphoto seems to use URL rewrite (like
http://example.com/gallery/albumexample/image/640/D201_0120.JPG) and then when accessed, it often redirects to the cached image.
In the second example it appears zenphoto is checking to see if an image of that size exists, then generates it if it is not, and finally redirects the browser to the cached image. So, have I found my answer, and how much server load linking to images in this manner causes?
