If you don't count uploading images and organizing the album you can get zenphoto up and running in less than30 minutes. Uploading can be done via FTP so you can figure out how long it would take you to create and populate the album folder structure on your hard disk. Then compute the number of megabytes of data and divide that by your FTP performance.
Then all you need to do is estimate how much time you need for editing things like album titles/descriptions, etc. That obviously depends on the size of the gallery.
Well working on a MAC and not having an application that shows my htaccess files.... it took me about 2 hours to search the forums and also find an application that I liked to switch back and forth to show/hide htaccess files.
I did get the database, hostname, bla bla bla set up in about 30-45 minutes. Off and on the phone of course.
also one question... how come this thread tool doesn't notify me of postings? and is there a tool for ZenPhoto that notifies me when someone leaves a comment?
