Can I use ZenPhoto for a wedding photographer site?

Hi,

I'm looking at producing a wedding photography site and am wondering if this type of project is easily achievable in ZenPhoto?

Can ZenPhoto be easily integrated into a site that's already built (a basic brochure site) to provide the following facilities-

1. The photographer can upload their own images which will then be displayed in different photo galleries on different public site pages?

2. The photographer can also upload 50 or so images to many photo galleries which are 'private' and set a different password for access to each gallery. Then give that password to one of their clients so that they can see their own wedding photos?

3. The photographer is keen that the galleries are not displayed with thumbnails, just shown as slideshows - can this be done?

4. Can I set up the photographer with sufficient privileges to manage all the galleries, but not allow him to have overall control of all the system-wide functionality that is in ZenPhoto? I.e. not give him full Admin access?

    It all boils down to that modifier "easliy". many people have integrated zenphoto into their sites. It really requires knowledge of HTML and possibley dome PHP. The standard approach is to modify a zenphoto theme so that it "looks" like the rest of the site.

    1. Sounds like you want a differend subdomain for each photographer. That is really not relevant to zenphoto. Each subdomain would have an installation of zenphoto. If you really mean just to have the photographers control their own album in a zenphoto gallery, this is straight forward. You assign each photographer a user/password and in Admin grant him rights to do what he needs to do.

    2. Zehphoto has the concept of "published" albums. It also has password protected albums. The two can be used in combination. Only viewers who possess the password can access a password protected album.

    3. This is certainly possible. However, none of the distributed themes does exactly this. Efferevescence+ with the simpleviewer personality selected comes closest. Probably you would have to create a custom theme to accomplish this.

    re point 1 - my mistake, I didn't explain myself properly.
    There is only one photographer.
    The idea is that he would populate a few different galleries, each of which would appear on one of the pages of the existing brochure site.

    re point 3 - I will have a look at how themes are constructed; I may need assistance!

    re point 4 - I will check this information out.
