zenphoto index ok, albums not working

I had a working zenphoto for some time.
I installed the new zenphoto, and now the indexpage is showing up ok, but when I click a thumb there, I get an error. The album wont show

Was trying different things in the adminpanel... do not know what did the trick

Probably you turned off the mod_rewrite option. That is the most common cause of problems like you described.
