No, use CSS, for example this: http://www.lwis.net/free-css-drop-down-menu/
We use that on the backend.

Quick addition to make clear: Using CSS you can turn all of our standard menus into dropdown ones as well. No need for a special plugin since it is theme dependent anyway.
