Login into passworded galleries directs back to index page

I've just upgraded from ZP version 1.1.7 to version 1.2 [2213].

Unfortunately, when I now log in to any of my galleries (all of which are password-protected), the user is redirected back to the gallery index page.

Gallery settings include:

Enable user name login field: Yes
No Gallery guest user / password fields filled
Enable Persistent Archives: No
Enable Gallery Sessions: No
Use lock image: Disabled

I tried mixing-and-matching these settings, but nothing seemed to work.

Any suggestions? Or would I need to reinstall all my albums?

I had this problem with 1.2 update to Nightly been fixed there.

If I remember correctly this should also be fixed in the 1.2.1 version, the one on the main page.
