Next/prev image issue in search context in custom theme based on zpMasonry

We are using a custom theme based on zpMasonry. Since we upgraded from 1.4.3.5 (we are on latest 1.4.4.1b), if you bring up a dynamic album or search on a keyword, you get the correct sub-set of images, but click on one of them, and you are placed into the picture's main album. Instead of say "x of y" where y is the number of images in the result set, you get "n of m" where m is the number of images in the selected image's "real" album. Previous and next take you through the album's images, not the result set's images.

I know we are using a custom theme, and the previous/next functionality does work properly on the supported themes in latest, but it was working for us up to 1.4.3.5 and we did not change any of our theme files. In image.php, we are still using "if hasPrevImage ... getPrevImageURL" and "if hasNextImage ... getNextImageURL" - just like in the supported themes.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Sorry, we can really not help with custom themes that are also based on third party themes.

I would suggest to try the official zpMasonry version and if it works there you have to find out what is different. The same of course if it works in the official ones.

I have changed the topic title so the original theme's author might be able to join.
  • works in official zpmasonry, just verified. can you provide a link?
  • Thanks gjr - here's the url for our site: pixmix.ca
  • Also, is there an updated zpMasonry theme? Where is it available?

The one I have is version 1.4.3 from 7/7/12. From a search, it no longer even shows the image page (blank page) since upgrade to 1.4.4.
  • Sorry, ignore my last post. I see a 1.4.4.4 version (from 01/26/2013) of zpMasonry is available at http://oswebcreations.com/Themes/zpMasonry/

Of course the site for each theme is always linked from our themes section (unless the theme is not available anymore naturally).
  • I see your issue on your custom theme. You may try to extract the image.php from the lates official zpmasonry and insert into yours?

Or install the official zpmasonry theme (or official theme), temporarily switch to it to see if the issue is solved, and it is not something other than the theme.
