Making ZenPhoto and Stopdesign Theme fully w3c Valid

Hi everytime i try to upload my template index file or zen photoindex file to the W3C Validator it says..
Sorry! This document can not be checked.

Sorry, I am unable to validate this document because its content type is application/download, which is not currently supported by this service.

The Content-Type header is sent by your web server (or web browser if you use the file upload interface) and depends on its configuration. Commonly, web servers will have a mapping of filename extensions (such as ".html") to MIME Content-Type values (such as text/html).

That you received this message can mean that your server is not configured correctly, that your file does not have the correct filename extension, or that you are attempting to validate a file type that we do not support yet. In the latter case you should let us know that you need us to support that content type (please include all relevant details, including the URL to the standards document defining the content type) using the instructions on the Feedback Page.
And if i just input the url it gives me the generate site files therefor not working.

Does anyone know if i can make my site w3c valid

My site url is www.raggaphoto.co.uk

Thanks!

Your site does not use the standard stopdesign theme but a heavily modified one with flash (for what not obvious reasons ever that may be there).
  • But even when i try to valid an unmodified verson (e.g. The one that comes with ZenPhoto download it does exactly the same thing)

Also when i try to upload the index.php from zenphoto root (unmodified) it does exactly the same thing.

I tried to validate your site's index, there are some errors that may be our fault but some are related to your flash additions also.

Of course you can use the file upload for the validator since these files are php files and no html files. You need to validate it from your running site without the php code.
  • Are you uploading the actual .php file to the validator? That's why you are getting the weird object errors. The validator checks HTML or XHTML, not PHP which is a server side code. You need to just type in your web address for validation at validator.w3.org or whatnot, and then see if that works for you, then make changes to the theme accordingly.
