Use image description made by Adobe Photoshop Album

Hello
I am discovering Zenphoto. It seems great !
One point (very critical to me) is that I have described my 8000 images (jpg) with Adobe Photoshop Album.
I do not know how it is possible to have these descriptions carried to the description line of the photo page of Zenphoto.
I use the default theme.

    I don't know Photoshop Album but if that is able to attach the desriptions as EXIF/ITPC-Data Zenphoto will be able to read that.

    Kind of depends on where Adobe put the information. If it is in the IPTC fields of the image you are golden. If it is in some kind of sidecar file you are out of luck.

    Your only chance then would be to find a way to export that data into something that could then be imported into the zenphoto database. We do have a backup/restore feature that is in the development builds. It might be possible to create a file from the data that could be restored by that facility.

    Many thanks for your interest.
    I have analysed my pictures with EXIF Pilot Lite, and it turns out that my description (the one I want not to loose !) is recorded in the EXIF metadata under "Description".
    Is there not a way to carry that directly and automatically into the database when adding pictures ? For the time being, I find a blank in the 'description" field, which is only filled when I feed it by hand.
    It seems to me that it would be a great improvement if this "description" field was, by default, imported into the database and then could be changed by hand, not the converse. I am sure that I am not the only one in this situation !
    What is your advice ?
    I know a little about PHP, but I am not sure I could do it properly.
