Random image order in search / tags?

Hi,

is it possible to modify the image order on the search-results / tags page in a way that the images are sorted randomly? Because when you have more 50 or 100 results for a tag / search, only the ones sorted on the top get clicked. But i want the users to see all images, so it would be great to sort them randomly with every new search.

Another solution would be to change the sort order every time the result-page is displayed. But as i have seen, i can only change the order in the admin-backend and not by a method in the frontend - am i right?

How can i modify this?

Sort orders are options so they can be set using the setOption() function. There is, unfortunately, no "random" sort order setting.
