How do I use Zenphoto without a host?

I am currently building a website and would like to include a photo/video gallery. I am interested in using zenphoto, but my site is not yet published and I do not have a host. Thus, I cannot follow the installation instructions. Is is possible for me to use zenphoto to create my gallery before my site is hosted?

All you have to do is run some special software on your computer -- basically a web server. If you're on a Mac, I would highly suggest using MAMP (http://mamp.info/en/index.php). If you're on Windows, you have several options. Two off the top of my head are:
* XAMPP (http://www.apachefriends.org/en/xampp.html)
* WAMP (http://www.wampserver.com/en/)

Once the web service is up and running, then you can just download and install ZenPhoto (using the normal installation instructions) onto your own computer and just run it from there.

Then, when you get your host, just transfer all the files over, edit a couple config files, and there u go.
