When decompressing a file, I find it disconcerting that the author hasn't compressed it in a single directory. As an example, when I went to decompress zenphoto1.0.2b.tar.gz in my root directory, I expected a zenphoto directory to show up. instead, it uncompressed all the files and directories at the root level, including an index.php file.
Naturally, this overwrites any other index.php file you might have at your root level. Effectivly, I wiped that part of my site out.
Perhaps in a future release, if it could all be contained in one directory after decompressing, that might help.
