how to include zp photos in wp sidebar

Hi,

I have a custom wordpress blog and zenphoto installed on my server. i want to achieve what is done at www.lolanewyork.com/blog, where in the left side column, under Photos, it appears that a (random or newest, i can't tell) selection of images from zenphoto is displayed, which link to the images themselves within the zenphoto gallery. i don't need zenphotos in my posts, just in the sidebar. does anyone know how these photos can be called into wordpress in this way?
