I made a new album called /series.
Then I went to the overview page with the albums inside another album en chose one album /faces to 'Move' to (dropdownlist) /series because I want the album /faces to appear inside /series like /series/faces. But then I get the message that the album /faces could not be found.
The new album /series is writable ofcourse (777).
What am I doing wrong?

Is it true that after changing the name of an album, on the server the directory still has the old name? And if so, can I change it manually on the server?
Zenphoto is file system based so it sees what it finds the albums folder. The album name that you set on the admin edit page is independed from the album folder name. If we speak of the album name we refer to the folder name, otherwise we refer to the album title. If you rename the folder via ftp Zenphoto will see it as a new album and you will loose everything you added to the album in the db since Zenphoto will update it.
To avoid that you should use the rename feature on each album edit page that is next to the move / copy radio buttons.
Can I use the same folder name more than once, without getting into future problems as long as they are in seperate (sub)albums?
So, can I use
/people/miscellaneous/
/animals/miscellaneous/
/cars/miscellaneous/
at the same time?
