Zen install changed WordPress default.html

After installing ZenPhoto (and ignoring the prominant warning about writing over files), my site's home page (latest post) seems to have gone missing. The only thing I see is a BlueHost cPanel screen telling me to delete the default.html. Which I did. Now, my homepage is the index page.

How do I get back to my old home page?

  • If copying zenphoto to your site has replaced your home page script file your only option is to get it back from a backup.

default.html is not part of zenphoto. What do you mean by "Now my homepage is the index page?" The zenphoto index page? Did the cPanel say why it wanted you to delete the deault.html file?
  • Thank you so much for your response. I'm just a little over my head here.

    I don't have a backup to reload.

The site error message can be seen at www.freefakediploma.com

When I remove the default.html page (per the instructions) only the index page comes up.

    Suggestions?
  • We are probably not going to be able to help you. I suggest you contact Bluehost with this problem.

    EDIT:

It would seem you have used Simplescripts to install Zenphoto. We are unable to help you with this third-party tool. In addition to contacting your host you may need to conatct simplescrips.com.
