auto update of zenphoto

I use piwik to do some statistics on my website.
piwik allows an auto update when a new release exists.

is there a way to do the same thing with zenphoto ?
I found this php class on the Net : http://www.phpclasses.org/package/4157-PHP-Update-application-files.html
but I am not not competent enough to see if it can be used with zenphoto.

I don't know that class. A lot of tools can do this auto or self updating like Wordpress or Joomla. Zenphoto is not capable of that at the moment. Right now there are no plans to my knowledge. As always you could open a ticket.
