Custom thumbnail cropping problem

Hello,

This is my first post. I know absolutely nothing about PHP, CSS, MySql or anything and simply downloaded the script and followed the installation instructions. Overall I am very pleased and happy and have a working gallery. My Zen versions are zenphoto 1.2.3 [3427] with zenpage 1.1 [3427] and I am using the default Zenpage theme, and I am using IE 7 (Version 7.0.5730.13) as a browser in XP Pro64.

I have one minor problem - I cannot "do" the custom thumbnail cropping.

When I click on an image thumbnail to go to the Custom thumbnail cropping page I can see the current thumbnail, I can see a full image, but the thumbnail review is thin green horizontal line and I do not appear to have any cropping options.

In addition the page loads with a "Done, but with error on page" comment at the foot of the browser window. The detail behind the comment is as follows:

Line :61
Char: 26
Error: Expected '/'
Code: 0
URL: http://www.ourstorespace.co.uk/HuwAlban/Site/zp-core/admin-thumbcrop.php?a=emotions-in-black-white&i=CRW_4047-Edit.jpg&subpage=1&tagsort=0

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but what is wrong? I've searched through the forum and cannot find anything related to this so am assuming that it is something that I have done.

Thanks,

Huw

  • Somehow your option for crop width is set to zero. Check this in the options for your theme.
  • Spot on! You were quite correct. Somehow I had wiped that value out. I've now unticked the option and I am away, but have also checked that I can select a crop. What a fantastic service!

    Many grateful thanks,

  • Hey guys,

Very nice work, really appreciate the time and effort you put into this project.

I am having the same problem as Huwalban123, I have unchecked the crop thumbnail option and thumbsize is set at 200.
Problem still persists even if I set crop thumbnail to 200 X 200.

Please note that ZP is working fine on my local machine.

Very grateful if you help me out please.
