Theme Error

Hi sorry I wrongly posted this thread on General discussion forum yesterday,

anyway, I am having some serious problem with Zenphoto because I find it impossible to alter any bit of the image.php file in any theme folder duplicated from the official ones. Even updating it online without any changes will result in the failure of displaying single image page. And the IE says there's a 500 Internal server error.

+If I update the file via FTP, I can not see anything except the background. However, when I check the page source everything has been loaded, but they just won't display.

I have reinstalled the whole program but nothing happens.

Can anyone please help?

  • Sounds very much like permissions errors on the script files. Do things work correctly on the themes that came with the distribution? Are there any CGI errors reported?
  • Hi sbillard, thanks for your reply,

Yes all the themes work. But as soon as I update the image.php file in them, they will go down.

And no there haven't been any CGI errors.

So what do you think that i can do to solve the problem?
  • Must be permissions on the scripts. Be sure that they are marked executable and readable. Probably they need to be 0777 for permissions.
  • have done that, changed all the scripts to 777, still not working...
  • How about mod_rewrite, have you reset that option?
