tinyzenpage inserting incorrect url

When inserting an image using tinyzenpage, it inserts an incorrect url - a slash is inserted after the the domain name instead of between zenphoto and zp-core, as follows:

http://website.com//folder/folder/zenphotozp-core/i.php?a= etc

Is this an error with tinyzenpage, or with my setup?

    What version please?
  • Version 1.2.3 [3427] (Official Build)

It appears to assume that installed at domain root.

No, it should not. Please try the nightly build. tinyZenpage and Zenpage itself are now included in the Zenphoto package. Note you can't take them from the nightly and install them on 1.2.3 official.
  • Thanks for the reply. I've changed the website structure and created a sub-domain which points at the same folder and the picture urls are now created correctly. I am, however, experiencing another problem with inserting pictures using tinyzenpage. I cannot get the custom thumb left working - it was working initially, but after several goes experimenting with the CSS formatting etc, all pictures now float right. I've used different browsers (firefox, IE and chrome) but still the same.

If I can get this working, then it's looking excellent.

    Thanks for your assistance.

I can't reproduce it. Actually the image gets a class attached and additionally to work without css changing an inline style "float:left/right)". Btw, you can also use the alignment option of standard image button of tinymce after you inserted an image.
  • Again thanks for the reply. I'm producing a website for a local sports club and want it so the club can update their own website, which is why zenphoto with zenpages is perfect - I set it up and givem a few instructions and they can do everything else themselves. I realise that I could edit the image style properties each time, but I'd prefer to use the style classes generated by tinyzenpage as I'm looking to tinyzenpage as being the main way for the club to include pictures from the gallety into news articles etc. The site is very much a test site so I can ensure that zenphoto with zenpages will be the best CMS for the job - so far it is. As there's no "real" content on the site and is on a testing url, I'd be happy to give you a temporary admin login to the webpages so you can see the error live. If you're happy to do this, I need to securely send you the url, a logon id and password.

    Many thanks

Do you use a custom theme actually? As said I can't reproducec it with the zenpage-default theme. So if it is a custom theme is it possible that you somehow override the inline style by some other css setting for images in general maybe? if you have for example have ".classxy img { }" somewhere that might conflict with that.
  • I do use a custom theme, but it's based on the default one. tinyzenpage however always seems to add the class customthumb_right and the inline style float:right even when the left option is chosen.

class customthumb_right and the inline style float:right are actually correct as the option refers to the "text wrap", not the position of the image. If you choose "text wrap left" the image is floating right and the text wraps left.
  • I apologise, you're absolutely right of course and I knew this, but wasn't seeing the wood for the trees!

Many thanks for your response and for pointing out my stupidity.
